Adam Hawkswood

Having lived and been educated in Berkhamsted all my life, it seemed the right time to start giving something back to the local community. I have worked in educational environments across the town since I have been old enough to work, and attained a Degree in Philosophy and Politics from the University of Essex a couple of years ago. Working in these learning environments requires a lot of teamwork and resilience; attributes I look forward to bringing to the table with my new council colleagues. Working with young people in the area has made me realise that they are hugely under represented and don’t have a cohesive voice in the area, which I would like to help change. This being said I am very excited to work with all of our parishioners in making the town an enjoyable and safe place to live and work in.
